Justice Terry Sanford #72 (1865-1930). Sanford autographs a chambers card dated July 22, 1926. There is a photographic print of Justice Sanford. There is also a period picture of the Justice with his wife Lutie Mallory Sanford. The board includes a numbered first day cover of the capitol dome certified and numbered as 40/41 the cover commemorates the good friendship enjoyed between justice Sanford and the previous president then Chief Justice William Taft. Taft was chief justice from 7/11/1921 until 2/3/1930.
