Justice Abe Fortas, #95 (1910-1982) Justice Fortas autographs the cover of time magazine published in the late 1960’s (July 5th, 1968). He also signs a second autograph on this board when he signs a first day cover picture of the nominating President Johnson postmarked October 1, 1968. There is also displayed both President Johnson and Justice Fortas laughing during a private moment discovered outside a lavatory. The board includes other photos of Justice Fortas one in a suit and another in a fur cap during a frozen Washington winter.

Finally, there is a first day cover with original by a person who calls himself “shadow” postmarked August 21, 1997, depicting our American flag or adopted eagle with the refrain “stars and stripes forever.”
