Presented is a letter written on Supreme Court letterhead and signed by Supreme Court Justice Harold Burton #84 on July 6, 1953 where he discusses how he wrote the decision of Savorgnan v United States. There are three photographs of Justice Burton receiving an award, with his wife, Selma and shaking hand with supporters when he was Mayor of Cleveland, Ohio.

Also on the same board is Justice James F. Byrnes #81 who also signed a letter on his personal letterhead dated January 21, 1965. Therein Byrnes talks about how he is addressed after having worn so many hats throughout his political lifetime and in the many capacities as Supreme Court Justice, but also as a congressman. Governor and a representative for America to the World War II peace accords.
