Justice Tom C. Clark #86 (1899-1977) after being raised in Dallas in a family of lawyers Clark to no one’s surprise went to law school and went to work in the family law firm. He joined the Department of Justice and allied himself with future President Harry S. Truman. After December 7th he worked at relocating Japanese American’s residing on the West Coast. When Vice President Truman succeeded Roosevelt he appointed Clark Attorney General and eventually to the United States Supreme Court.

This board presents a letter on Supreme Court letterhead dated January 16, 1971, where he writes to Julien Elfenbein reference the advantages of manual’s and movies. The board presents the family Clark in youthful real-life happiness. The rest of the pictures all reflect the Justice in his judicial attire. One of the photographs show him in the back row the second newest Justice on the Supreme Court.
