Justice William J. Brennan, Jr. #90 (1906-1997)
Justice Brennan Justice Brennan went to Harvard Law at the top of his class. He was the offspring of Irish immigrants that met after they came to the U. S. class. He was an effective jurist Chief Warren used his talent frequently Brennan signs a chambers card dating it Feb. 16, 1982. There is an American Eagle Medallion with the Liberty Bell. And the Justice’s likeness is provided in three different poses which shows a progression of age for his 33 years on the court. There is a first day art cover by artist Pugh numbered 40 / 100 displaying also the American Eagle. Most unique, however is the photograph of the entire court which displays: the first black Justice, the first female Justice, the only time two Justices were sworn in together #99 and 100, the man who penned the now overturned Roe v Wade decision, a highest paid NFL running back, a man who personally observed Babe Ruth call his home run, and the display has the incorrect Chief Justice.
