Warren Burger #97 (1907-1995) the 15th Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. Warren Burger autographs a group photograph featuring a Congressman and past Mayor of Compton, California, Del Clawson and wife . Clawson is standing next to the Chief.

The board also is somewhat political in that it displays a drawing of the Chief on the bench an envelope of the 1977 inauguration of president jimmy carter postmarked January 20, 1977 as well as a White House photograph of the entire court visiting the White House. All 9 Justices are clearly observable. There is as well a photograph of the Chief waving to the camera. Finally, there is an original art drawing on a first day cover postmarked June 14, 1987. The artist celebrates both the American flag and the American shield as well as the American eagle. The effort is signed by Pugh and numbered 30 of 47.
