The balance of the 1892 supreme court is displayed in their court picture. Justice Shiras is the newest member of the court. Justice browns position in the second row and to the far right tells us he is the second newest member of the court.

Justice Henry Billings Brown #52 (1836- 1913) autographed an undated card which appears to be the end of a letter: Justice George Shiras, Jr. #53 (1832-1924) autographs a card dated March, 1893. This board includes a photograph of the 1892 supreme court. Justice Shiras is the newest member and is standing in the second row far right. Justice George Sutherland #70 (1862-1942) autographs a chambers card and dates it October 6, 1921. Sutherland was born to a Scottish father who travelled to the United States and settled for a time in Utah. Young Sutherland eventually settled on Michigan Law.
George Sutherland #70 (1862-1942)
Sutherland was born in Buckinghamshire, England and was brought by his parents to America. More specifically he was brought to Utah. There his parents joined the Church of Later-Day Saints and later removed themselves from that membership. He attended BYU and Michigan law. Sutherland was nominated to the Court by Warren G. Harding and no voice was heard to object. ( Sutherland was the last LDS member to represent Utah in the Senate.)

George Sutherland #70 (1862-1942) a United States member of the house, from Utah was nominated to the United States Supreme Court by Warren G. Harding. He had attended BYU and Michigan Law. George Sutherland autographs a 4 x 5 card by signing his name, dating it February 26, 1906 and etches thereon Utah.
